Tourists Places in Munnar
A hill station located in Kerala’s Idukki District, Munnar is known for its tea gardens, wildlife sanctuaries, waterfalls and climate. It is 1,200 metres above sea level and gets heavy rainfall throughout the year.
Rose Garden

Periyar National Park

This park is best visited between November and February. The temperature remains consistent throughout the year. Due to dense forest, you cannot enter inside.
There are many tea estates around Munnar, where you can visit and taste tea. Visit local tea gardens (Kannan Devan Hills, Munnar Valley Tea Gardens, etc) and taste their special teas. Tour the tea factory and understand how tea is processed and brewed.
Kundala Dam

A popular tourist attraction, the view point at the top of Anamudi Peak offers breathtaking panoramic views of the entire valley below and is located at 2,829 meters above sea level in the Idukki district of Kerala state. The name Anamudi means “the mountain of clouds” The trek to the summit passes through dense forests of oak, bamboo and deodar trees.
Nayamakada waterfall
It is located at the base of the Muthanga mountain range. The water flows down the mountainside and then forms the small stream called Pazhassi river. The waterfalls are about 50 meters high and is known for its rich biodiversity.
Echo Point Munnar
The Echo Point is a popular tourist spot located at the top of the highest peak . The view of the surrounding area is breathtaking. The view consists of rolling hills covered in tea plantations, coffee farms, and coconut groves. There are many waterfalls that run down the mountainside with beautiful streams running alongside them.
