Chandigarh is a city in northern India. It has a population of over 1 million and is the capital of Punjab state.There are many tourist attractions in the city, including temples and parks. 


Sukhna lake

In Chandigarh, there is a natural lake called Sukhna Lake. It is one of the most important water bodies in the city and has been a significant tourist attraction for decades. It covers an area of approximately 2.5 acres .


Rock Garden

A rock garden is a form of Japanese garden design, traditionally composed of stones and sand arranged to create an aesthetically pleasing, natural-looking landscape.Rock gardens are typically designed as a reflection of the natural beauty of the local environment.

Rock gardens are usually constructed around water sources, such as lakes or ponds. Rocks may be placed in such a way as to suggest mountains or other natural formations.


Chattbir Zoo

The Chattbir Zoo is located in Chandigarh, India. The zoo was established in 1965 and is one of the oldest in the country. More than 100 species of animals live at Chattbir Zoo, including tigers, lions, bears, monkeys, deer, and more.

Museum and Art Gallery

In 1956, the Government Museum and Art Gallery was established. It houses a number of permanent collections, including paintings from the Mughal School of Painting, Rajput School of Painting, Pahari School of Painting and Western School.


Doll Museum

There is a doll museum in Chandigarh, India, called the International Dolls Museum. The organization was founded in 2000. Thousands of children and adults have visited the museum. It has the world’s largest collection of dolls from over 100 countries and various cultures.


Pinjore Garden

Chandigarh’s Pinjore Gardens is a popular tourist destination. The gardens were originally built by the British as a summer retreat from the heat of Punjab.

Pinjore Gardens provide visitors with a pleasant and beautiful environment in which to relax. As well as offering a serene setting for music concerts, exhibitions, and plays, it is also a venue for a variety of cultural events.

As well as these gardens, there is also a small zoo called Pinjore Zoo, which is home to many different species of animals.


National Gallery of Portraits

The National Gallery of Portraits is a gallery in Chandigarh, India. This gallery is the first portrait gallery in India and it is one of the largest portrait galleries . The gallery has portraits of eminent people from different fields such as art, literature, science and politics.


Le Corbusier Center

A museum and research library dedicated to the work of architect Le Corbusier is located at the Le Corbusier Center. The building was designed by Le Corbusier himself, but it was executed by Indian architects Achyut Kanvinde and Shanti Prasad Jain.
