Chidiya Tapu Beach
Its is a wonderful place located 22.5 km from port Blair airport. It is considered the best place to watch the sunset which attracts a lot of both local and traveling tourists here
Chidiya Tapu is divided into 4 attractions:
Mundapahad Beach: made of white sand and crystal clear blue waters.
Chidiya Tapu Biological Park is a 40-hectare park that was established in 2001. Various endemic and endangered plants and animals can be found in the park. Animals such as barking deer, spotted deer, and wild boars can also be seen roaming the jungle.

- Opening Days: Open Tuesday to Sunday, Closed on Monday.
One of the best things about visiting Chidiya Tapu is the sunset and there is a specific place called “Sunset Point”
The Indian subcontinent’s only active volcano. It is a restricted zone that requires special permission to enter. There are no trees or plants on the island.
Th is beach is only well-known for its water activities. Snorkeling, para sailing, banana rides, disco rides, and other activities are available. The beach is only open until 3 p.m. for visitors.
There are two ways to get to this beach: by boat from Radha Nagar Beach or by trek.
