The Great Fort of Agra
Agra Fort was constructed between 1565 and 1573 by Akbar. On the west bank of the Yamuna River, it is about 2 kilometers from the Taj Mahal. In the fort, Shah Jahan built palaces made of white marble.
UNESCO has included the Agra Fort in its list of World Heritage Sites because of its beauty.
Entry Timings –
Timings for the Agra Fort are 6AM-6PM.
For Indians, entry is Rs.20. For foreigners, it is Rs.300. There is no entry fee for children under 15 years old.
The tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula is located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The Mughal emperor Jahangir built this mausoleum in honor of Begum Nur Jahan’s parents.

The tomb covers an area of about 119 acres. The tomb of Akbar’s most beloved wife, Mariam-uz-Zamani, is just 1 km from this famous tomb.
Taj Mahal , Agra
